Two personal anniversaries are marked with their own stamps this time around. Johan Sverdrup is regarded as the father of parliamentarism in Norway.
Author Tor Jonsson was the first to write about "bygdedyret", the negative aspects of rural life, and is regarded as one of the great lyricists of his time.
