The Christmas set 2016, designed by Francesco Bongiorni, is dedicated to the theme of reception. The €0.70 value represents a girl that holds the First Tower of San Marino in her arms. The €0.95 stamp depicts the embrace between the Second Tower and a black girl. On the €1.00 value a family climbing the Third Tower receives a warm welcome.
